Trailer 3 – ‘Worth a Minute’ Podcast: All Contributions Welcome!

Mike explains that the hope is that the ‘Worth a Minute’ podcast will be a collaborative activity, with many different people contributing content.

Mike provides the pointers noted below for anyone interested in submitting an episode for consideration:

  1. Identify a ‘Best Ever’ item, experience, memory etc that you would like to share
  2. Plan a script that will do it justice and will make an impact on your audience
  3. Record your script, taking care to make your audio as clean and clear as possible
  4. Review your recording - check that it’s between 45 and 75 seconds long and do your best to deal with any glitches
  5. Email your file (ideally in .wav or .mp3 format) to worthaminute@freerangepodcasting.co.uk, or email us at that address to arrange a file transfer.

Profile picture for Mike Elder

Mike Elder

After a career in school leadership, Mike now produces podcasts and provides podcasting services through Free Range Podcasting (www.freerangepodcasting.co.uk).
Historically, succinctness has not been one of Mike's defining characteristics, so the goal of providing meaningful and worthwhile content in 60 second episodes is not without its challenges for him... but he reckons that if he can do it, others will be able to join in as well, which would be great!
Profile picture for Bex Elder

Bex Elder

Bex is a freelance translator and writer based in the North East of Scotland. Her love of words, a good chat and energetic debate led her into podcasting. She currently splits her working hours between her own business and being employed a day per week by her local church as its Assistant Youth Pastor. Bex loves running, getting lost in a good book, drinking copious amounts of tea and will argue passionately that 'Home Alone 3' is the best of the bunch!
